"coming out with cher and chastity"

Pop superstar CHER is planning to star in a reality TV show with her lesbian daughter CHASTITY. The pair will counsel youngsters too scared to come out as gay and help their parents come to terms with the news, according to the National Enquirer. A source tells the tabloid, "Both Cher and Chas are experienced in this area. When Chas first revealed to her mother she was gay, Cher initially freaked out and tried to send her teenage daughter to a psychiatrist. "As part of the show, Cher would talk about what she went through and how she finally came to terms with her daughter's lesbianism. And Chas could relate to younger homosexuals about the trials that she had dealing with her celebrity parents. They both believe this show could help young men and women coming out of the closet.



i think this is a fantastic idea and should have many moments of camp thrown in somewhere along the way. it will be interesting though because the parents of the kids coming out will definitely know who cher is but the kids themselves might not know much about her other than maybe that 'believe' song....i'm anxious to see what comes of it. i think its a step in a great direction even though some 'gay authorities' think its a bad idea considering how horrible cher immediately dealt with the situation.
