here's a track from the new portishead album that is so disgustingly good i had to shine some light on it. it's the soundtrack to a most pleasant nightmare and is definitely the standout song on the new album called appropriately 'third'. the album isn't as trip hop heavy as the first two but it's gloriously dreary and makes for good companionship to night of marijuana smoking haha. just when you think the song is over it twists and turns with a slow and grimey and burning and longing techno frenzy that will just send you to another, very dark place.
